RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Construction is officially underway on a transformative $650 million Coca-Cola production and distribution campus in Rancho Cucamonga, marking one of the largest private industrial investments in the Inland Empire in recent years.
The flagship facility, being developed by Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, will occupy a 620,000-square-foot campus on a 30-acre redevelopment site located at the corner of 6th Street and Haven Avenue. Once completed, the state-of-the-art complex will serve as a major manufacturing and distribution hub for Southern California and Nevada.
The project represents more than just a new building—it is expected to strengthen the region’s economy, create hundreds of jobs, and modernize Coca-Cola’s production capabilities for decades to come.
A Major Economic Investment
The new campus is expected to generate 500 to 600 new jobs during its first three years of operation, providing opportunities across manufacturing, logistics, distribution, maintenance, administration, and support services.
The investment also reinforces Rancho Cucamonga’s growing reputation as a strategic location for large-scale industrial and distribution operations, thanks to its transportation infrastructure and proximity to major Southern California markets.
First New California Production Facility in Nearly 60 Years
One of the most significant aspects of the project is its historic importance.
According to project information, this will be the first newly built Coca-Cola production facility in California in nearly six decades. The campus replaces and expands upon an older distribution center dating back to 1984, creating a modern manufacturing operation designed to meet future regional demand.
Built for the Future
The new Reyes Coca-Cola campus is being designed with sustainability and employee wellness in mind.
Planned features include:
- Renewable energy systems
- Electric vehicle charging stations
- Water and energy efficiency technologies
- Modern employee training centers
- Expanded break rooms and workplace amenities
- An on-site parking garage
These improvements reflect a broader trend among manufacturers investing in environmentally responsible operations while creating more comfortable and efficient workplaces for employees.
Strengthening the Inland Empire
As one of California’s busiest logistics corridors, the Inland Empire continues to attract significant investment from manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
The new Coca-Cola campus is expected to enhance regional production capacity while improving distribution efficiency throughout Southern California and neighboring Nevada. Once operational, the facility will play an important role in supplying products to millions of consumers across the Southwest.
Looking Ahead
Construction is scheduled to continue throughout 2026, with the facility expected to be fully operational by early 2027.
When complete, the campus will stand as one of the most advanced beverage production and distribution facilities in the region and one of Rancho Cucamonga’s largest recent economic development projects.
For local residents, the project represents more than a construction site—it signals continued investment in the city’s future, expanded employment opportunities, and the ongoing evolution of the Inland Empire as a hub for advanced manufacturing and logistics.
