RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – March 27, 2026 – PRLog — SPMG Media has announced a new strategic partnership with promising student-athlete Brandon “Jett” Andrade and his father Henry Andrade, launching a media and brand visibility initiative designed to introduce Brandon to NCAA Division I college football recruiters across the United States.

Through this partnership, SPMG Media will develop and implement a strategic publicity and athlete branding campaign to increase Brandon Andrade’s national exposure among collegiate athletic programs seeking talented student-athletes.

Brandon “Jett” Andrade, a junior from Etiwanda High School in  Rancho Cucamonga, CA, is a dynamic multi-sport competitor participating in football, basketball, and track & field, where his speed, discipline, and athletic versatility have made him a standout athlete. His background in track hurdles has helped develop explosive speed, agility, and footwork that translate powerfully onto the football field.

Guiding Brandon throughout his athletic journey is his father, Henry Andrade, whose experience as one of the best hurdlers in the United States during the 1980s and early 1990s, along with his dedication and leadership have played a vital role in shaping Brandon’s development both as an athlete and as a young man preparing for collegiate competition.

Recognizing the importance of visibility in today’s recruiting environment, the Andrade family partnered with SPMG Media to help amplify Brandon’s story and create awareness among NCAA Division I football programs.

SPMG Media will lead a comprehensive initiative including:

  • Athlete media profile development
  • Strategic press coverage and publicity
  • Digital brand development
  • Recruiting visibility outreach to Division I football programs
  • Athlete features through SPMG Media publications
  • Preparation for future Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities

“Brandon Andrade is a talented young athlete with tremendous potential,” said Gina Smith, founder of SPMG Media. “Our role is to help ensure his story and athletic ability reach Division I recruiters and programs across the country.”

As collegiate athletics continues to evolve, exposure and athlete branding are becoming key elements of the recruiting process. Through its network of media platforms and strategic publicity services, SPMG Media helps emerging athletes gain the visibility needed to compete for opportunities at the next level.

With the support of his father and a growing media presence, Brandon “Jett” Andrade is taking an important step forward in his journey toward collegiate athletics.

Honoring Service with Shelter: Veterans Housing Project to Break Ground in San Bernardino

E Street Homes Inspired by Holocaust Survivor’s Gratitude to American Soldiers

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.—U.S.VETS, in partnership with San Bernardino County, the City of San Bernardino and Kingdom Development, Inc., will celebrate the groundbreaking of the E Street affordable housing development for veterans and their families—an effort made possible through the generosity ofHolocaust survivor John Boruchin and his wife Dora, longtime residents of the region.

The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on March 25 at 1351 N. E St. in San Bernardino.

After World War II, the Boruchins started a new life in San Bernardino County, never forgetting their family’s sacrifice and the U.S. soldiers who helped secure their freedom. John Boruchin went on to become one of California’s most successfulhome builders. In their estate plans, the couple left a substantial gift to the Jewish National Fund, including land designated to support housing for veterans—a vision now becoming reality.

“The E Street project expands our commitment to bringing affordable housing and supportive services to Inland Empire veterans and their families,” said Nicole Starks-Murray, executive director of U.S.VETS Inland Empire. “Today, we’re laying more than the foundation for housing—we’re building hope and honoring those who’ve served with the stability, dignity and community they’ve earned.”

The development will include 30 one- and two-bedroom homesfor veterans experiencing homelessness. U.S.VETS will provideon-site services, including mental health programs, career development and peer engagement opportunities.

Each home will feature a modern kitchen and bathroom with essential appliances. Community amenities will include laundry facilities, a community center and shared common areasdesigned to foster connection and neighborhood integration. The project is anticipated to open in 2027 and will serve veteran households earning 50 percent or less of the area median income.

U.S.VETS and Kingdom Development are jointly developing the E Street project, with funding support from Banc of California, California Department of Housing and Community Development, City National Bank, City of San Bernardino,County of San Bernardino, Disabled Veteran Charities, R4 Capital and The Home Depot Foundation. The development is estimated to cost $28 million. Construction has already begun, with early site work underway ahead of the official groundbreaking.

“Veterans and their families have given so much in service to our nation,” said Dawn Rowe, chairman of the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and Third District supervisor. “Our investment in this development is one way we can recognize their service and support their continued success in our community.”

Other county leaders said the project reflects San Bernardino County’s broader efforts to expand housing and services for veterans.

“Our investment in the E Street project is about bringing dignity and respect to the veterans and families who call our community home,” said Joe Baca, Jr., vice chair of the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and Fifth District supervisor “This development reflects our commitment to honoring their service with action.”

Although the number of veterans experiencing homelessness in the Inland Empire has declined over the past decade, more than 500 veterans in the region remain unhoused, underscoring the continued need for projects like E Street.

Johnny O’s is open and awesome for breakfast and lunch in Rancho Cucamonga

This Friday, we hit the road to the Inland Empire to check out a no-frills, family-owned restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga.

Welcome to Johnny O’s, located in the Vineyards Marketplace shopping center.

When the 2008 recession hit, owner John Ortega, who most here know as Johnny O, said he and his family decided to start a business of their own.

They say they’ve been “open and awesome” since 2014, serving all your breakfast and lunch classics.

The strawberry French toast is a hit, and big breakfast sandwiches and bacon burritos keep locals coming back for a hot meal.

“I come here at least twice a week, if not more,” Tonya Bethley, a regular customer, said. “They’re so friendly. They’re so warm and welcoming to anyone that comes in.”

The menu also boasts potatoes loaded with bacon and cheese and delicious Cajun hot links and home fries.

Ortega said they put the focus on the food, with a mission to serve quality and filling meals that everyone in their community can enjoy.

“We wouldn’t be here without the community,” Ortega said. “Local families, customers, communities, schools, fire department, police department. All these guys that helped us and COVID and everything else, they’re a pillar for us.”

Most dishes, including mouth-watering pancakes and homemade biscuits and gravy, are under $20.

Johnny O’s in Rancho Cucamonga is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“To be honest, it’s humbling,” Ortega said. “I’m glad that people reach out and enjoy what we do. I put a lot of effort into it, a lot of hard work.”

The restaurant is located at 11368 Kenyon Way Suite G, in Rancho Cucamonga.

JUST IN: Riverside City Council Rejects University Terrace Homes Proposal

On January 13, the Riverside City Council voted 4–3 to reject the proposed University Terrace Homes project, turning down a large-scale housing initiative aimed at addressing homelessness in the city.

The no vote was led by Councilmembers Philip Falcone, Steven Robillard, Chuck Condor, and Sean Mill.

The plan would have used state Homekey+ funding to convert the 114-room Quality Inn at 1590 University Avenue into 114 studio homes—94 permanent supportive housing units for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness, along with 20 affordable housing units.

Voting in favor were Councilmembers Clarissa Cervantes, Jim Perry, and Mayor Pro Tem Steve Hemenway, who argued that Riverside cannot afford to pass on a rare, ready-to-go housing opportunity of this scale.

The project carried a $29.7 million total price tag, including a $20.137 million state grant and approximately $9.5 million in already-allocated local housing funds. With the vote, that funding is now effectively left unused—despite a homelessness crisis that continues to grow more urgent across the city.

As Riverside residents grapple with rising housing insecurity, the decision raises tough questions about how—and how quickly—the city is willing to act when substantial outside funding is on the table.

Seeking Artists for New Public Art at the City Services Building| City of Ontario, CA

The City of Ontario is seeking an artist or artist team to develop public art that will be placed at the entrance of the newly constructed City Services Building.

Ontario, CA- The City’s Museum, Arts & Culture Department is seeking an artist or artist team to develop public art that will be placed at the entrance of the new City Services Building in downtown. Artists will develop site-integrated sculptural work of art that fosters community, connectivity, and civic pride, while reflecting multiple cultural identities and intergenerational values. This work of art will be placed into the City’s permanent public art collection, and will ultimately become a well-known visual landmark at this site for all to enjoy.

This location provides the artist a space of high-visibility and accessibility during the day and in the evening, will become meaningful to the City staff who work there, and to all who visit. The project will continue to increase the community’s interest in public art, as well as heighten the visibility of artists and the arts in Ontario.

Museum, Arts & Culture Director Marissa Kucheck shared, “We’re thrilled to launch the first permanent public art project with support by our newly established Public Art Advisory Commission. This marks a bold step in our vision to make Ontario a thriving destination for arts and culture — a place where creativity is not only welcomed, but celebrated in our public spaces. We invite artists to be part of this historic moment and create a lasting piece that reflects our shared values, stories, and aspirations.”

With this public art installation, it is the goal of Ontario’s Public Art Advisory Commission and the City of Ontario to achieve the following:
