Residents across San Bernardino County are invited to celebrate community, safety, and neighborhood partnerships during National Night Out 2026, taking place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Hosted by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in partnership with local agencies and community organizations, the annual event offers families an opportunity to connect with law enforcement in a fun, welcoming environment.
Designed to strengthen the relationship between public safety officials and the communities they serve, National Night Out encourages neighbors to come together while learning more about crime prevention, emergency preparedness, and the many resources available throughout the county.
Attendees can meet local deputies, explore sheriff’s vehicles and specialized equipment, enjoy family-friendly activities, and interact with community partners who provide valuable services for residents of all ages.

Strengthening Community Through Connection
National Night Out has become one of the nation’s largest community-building campaigns, promoting positive relationships between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they protect. The event gives residents an opportunity to ask questions, learn about public safety initiatives, and build trust through face-to-face conversations in a relaxed setting.
For children, the event offers an exciting chance to see emergency vehicles up close, meet deputies, and participate in games and activities designed to educate while having fun. Parents can learn about local safety programs, neighborhood watch initiatives, crime prevention strategies, and community resources available throughout San Bernardino County.
Whether you’re attending in Rancho Cucamonga, Yucaipa, Apple Valley, Highland, Victorville, or any of the participating communities, National Night Out is an opportunity to celebrate the partnerships that help keep neighborhoods safe while enjoying an evening with family, friends, and neighbors.
